About Texas Housing Foundation

Building Hope. Changing Futures.

THF is governed by a 7-member Board of Directors appointed by the county commissioners of each participating county — Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Hays, Llano, and Williamson — plus an appointed resident commissioner. Since 2006, we’ve grown from a regional housing authority into a comprehensive community partner. What began as housing has become a complete ecosystem of support — where a home is just the beginning.

Our Story

Who We Are

Texas Housing Foundation is a Regional Public Housing Authority committed to expanding access to quality, attainable housing across Texas.

We build and preserve housing that supports stability — and we stay invested in every community over time. Through strategic development, partnerships, and community-based initiatives, THF works to expand access to quality housing options, for all Texans.

In addition to housing development, THF provides support services and resource navigation to help individuals and families maintain housing stability. By combining real estate development with community engagement and advocacy, THF addresses both the supply of attainable housing and the needs of the people it serves.
