Allison Smith, CPA

Allison Smith is the Chief Executive Officer of the Texas Housing Foundation, based in Marble Falls, Texas. A graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting in 2006. With more than 12 years of experience in the affordable housing industry, Smith brings deep expertise in property management, acquisitions, development, and general partnerships.

Throughout her tenure at the Texas Housing Foundation, Smith has held several leadership positions including Director of Finance and Accounting, Vice President of Finance and Administration, and Chief Executive Officer. Her strategic mindset, calm leadership under pressure, and ability to navigate complex challenges have earned her a reputation for thoughtful decision-making and steady results.Smith is also deeply committed to community service. She has served as Treasurer of the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center since 2017, was a long-standing board member of Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties, and previously served four years as Treasurer of the Bertram Economic Development Corporation, where she focused on economic empowerment initiatives.
