The mission of the Community Resource Centers of Texas, Inc. (CRC) is to provide delivery of social and public health services to qualified clients provided by nonprofit organizations and government agencies. By locating dozens of these agencies in one location, clients can quickly learn about, apply for, and receive services that are provided by these agencies. Experienced staff can also refer these clients to off-site agencies.

In the spring of 2005, the first CRC opened in Marble Falls, TX. This Center is a facility of the Texas Housing Foundation, housed in the T.Q. Brown Community Center at 1016 Broadway. It is the flag ship of Community Resource Centers of Texas, Inc.

In any given year there are numerous non-profit and government agencies located within the building. Some agencies are part-time while others are full time to serve clients in Llano County and surrounding areas.

This Center not only gives wonderful access of services to clients, the agencies benefit also. Every non-profit agency is provided, at no cost to their agency, office space with desk, computer, phone, and shared printer, copier and fax. At the front desk is a receptionist to greet clients, answer phones and direct calls, visit with newcomers and make referrals to clients if their needs cannot be met within the Center. An average of 1,800 people move through the Center each month.

To continue these services and access, the Texas Housing Foundation has 2 additional facilities in: Liberty Hill (Williamson County)Marble Falls (Burnet County)
